Singraur rajput
Singraur kshatriya belongs to shringverpur[1] or a place also known as singraur pargana 40 miles to prayagraj besides gangetic plain.
Singraur is a group of kshatriya[2] in serval kshatriya comunity( sengar, ror, gaharwar and kachhwaha) is submerged to form a group in ancient days to fought against Muslim invaders. Singraur are also known as the descendant of shringi Rishi and sengar rajput tributary. At the place singraur an ancient temple of shringi Rishi, singraur fort ,some major evidences of dynasties and pots of coins and jewellery of gaharwar dynasty was found during excavation[3] work held by B.Lal in 1976[4]
Singraur kshtriya's place was attacked by forces of Akbar during his reign by chasing down his dishonest brother Khan zaman from kannauj towards "singror"[1]. Singraur Kshatriya was conferred with the title of rawat [5]by the Akbar for their bravery.
Thakur dariyav singh was heroic face of Singraur kshatriya ,who gave much trouble to Britishers during 1857 mutiny and govern the independent government for 32 days in fatehpur district.
